Privacy Policy
Site Wingman ("we", "us", "our", company number SC896942) provides back-office automation for UK trade businesses. This policy explains what information we collect when you join our founding waitlist, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it.
What we collect
When you submit the waitlist form on this site, we collect:
- Your name and business name
- Your trade and team size
- Your email address and mobile number
- Which admin task you told us eats most of your time
- The date and time you submitted the form
We don't use cookies, analytics trackers, or any other tracking technology on this site — only what's needed to run the waitlist form itself.
Why we collect it
We use this information to:
- Hold your place on the founding waitlist
- Contact you personally as founding slots open
- Understand which problems matter most to the businesses joining, so we build the right thing
Our legal basis for processing this data is your consent, given when you submit the form. You can withdraw that consent at any time by emailing us — see Your Rights below.
Who else sees it
We keep the businesses who touch your data to a minimum:
- Make — the automation platform that routes your form submission into our system.
- Google Workspace — used to send us a notification when you join the waitlist.
Both operate under their own data processing agreements. We never sell your details, and we never share them with anyone for their own marketing purposes.
Site Wingman is registered with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) and has a written data protection approach for every client relationship. This waitlist form is the only data we hold on you until you become a client — at which point a separate client data agreement applies.
How long we keep it
We keep waitlist information until your founding slot is offered and either taken up or declined, or until you ask us to delete it — whichever comes first. If we haven't been in touch within 24 months of your signup, we'll delete your details automatically.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Ask what data we hold on you, and get a copy of it
- Ask us to correct anything inaccurate
- Ask us to delete your data
- Withdraw your consent at any time
- Complain to the ICO if you think we've got something wrong
To exercise any of these, email paul@sitewingman.co.uk and we'll deal with it personally, usually within a few days.
Security
Your submission is sent over an encrypted connection and stored on infrastructure operated by SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified providers. Access is limited to the founder.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be flagged to anyone already on the waitlist.
